TV Verdes Mares, a communication vehicle of the Verdes Mares System and a Rede Globo affiliate, is celebrating its 50th anniversary in January! On the evening of the 22nd, a thanksgiving celebration was held with our employees, led by Father Marcelo Rossi.
On the occasion, the president of the Edson Queiroz Group, Abelardo Rocha, highlighted the importance of the station in the history of communication in the country. The superintendent of the Verdes Mares System, Ruy do Ceará, emphasized in his speech TV Verdes Mares’ commitment to producing relevant content, always committed to its social function.
Also present at the ceremony were the vice-presidents of the Edson Queiroz Group, Roberto Costa and Aélio Silveira, as well as a special appearance by singer Renno! TV Verdes Mares first aired its programming on January 31, 1970, reinventing the way it delivered information and entertainment to the population.
