The morning newspaper is a ratings leader and will be showing special reports this week, as well as presenting a commemorative logo and an institutional campaign with ads, banners, VT and social media pieces.
One of the most popular and credible newspapers in the state, Bom dia Ceará, the morning news program of TV Verdes Mares, a Rede Globo affiliate, is celebrating its 40th anniversary this Tuesday (3). Throughout this week, special reports will be shown recalling the remarkable coverage, as well as testimonies from journalists who have worked for the newspaper and behind the scenes.
“Bom Dia Ceará goes on the air early and brings the first information for those starting their day. We keep an eye on the traffic and the weather and warn about closures and flooding. With live teams in the capital and in the countryside, the newspaper is able to show what is happening in Ceará, while also bringing you news on the economy, health and public safety. We open up space to listen to people’s complaints and demand solutions to problems. The newspaper provides an important service because, as well as informing, it also gives the population a voice. It’s on air for two and a half hours. So we still have time for sports news and that relaxed chat while sipping coffee with the viewer. What delights me about Bom Dia Ceará is its closeness to the public, who seem to open their doors to us,” says presenter Raíssa Câmara, who has been at the helm of the news program for three years.
The journalism manager of TV Verdes Mares, G1 Ceará and TV Verdes Mares Cariri, Marcelino Leal, explains that the program celebrating Bom Dia’s 40th anniversary will also include the participation of journalists from other states and a live link with the newspapers Hora Um and Bom Dia Brasil.
“Bom Dia Ceará’s daily mission is to bring viewers from all over the state the day’s agenda, the news that has repercussions at dawn and in the early hours of the morning and a lot of service. To do this, we have reporters in Fortaleza, Juazeiro do Norte and Sobral, who bring news not only from these cities, but from the entire region where they are located, bringing highlights from sport, the weather, the economy and politics, as well as the participation of live commentators. Bom Dia also has a reporter in Brasilia, reporting on federal decisions that affect the lives of people from Ceará,” he explains.
Bom Dia Ceará airs from Monday to Friday, from 6am to 8.30am, on TV Verdes Mares, with Halisson Ferreira and Raíssa Câmara presenting.
