For the second year running, Minalba lata is the official water of Latin America’s largest street race circuit in terms of number of races.
Minalba Brasil, the food and beverage company belonging to the Edson Queiroz Group (GEQ) and the national leader in the mineral water market, supported the Santander Track&Field Run Series, Latin America’s largest street race circuit in terms of number of races. For the second year running, the canned version of Minalba mineral water was chosen as the official water for hydrating the athletes taking part in the circuit.
Minalba was the first mineral water brand in Brazil to offer consumers an alternative to consuming this type of product in aluminum cans, a package that is not only infinitely and 100% recyclable, but can also be returned to the shelves within 60 days. This guarantees more sustainable consumption.
In addition to encouraging more conscious consumption, this type of container chills the drink much faster than other packaging options, as aluminum is an excellent thermal conductor, thus speeding up the cooling of the drink more evenly. In addition, aluminum is unbeatable when it comes to lightness, making it easier to transport the drink.
“The consumption of canned mineral water brings a series of benefits to the consumer, especially in events such as the Santander Track&Field Run Series, where athletes need practical and light packages that freeze quickly. Having Minalba can as the official water of one of the biggest sporting events in the country is extremely important for us to promote this new way of drinking mineral water to consumers,” said Edgar Galbiatti, marketing manager at Minalba Brasil.
The Santander Track&Field Run Series circuit runs until December. Eighty races are planned throughout the year, covering a large part of the country in cities such as João Pessoa (PB), Fortaleza (CE), São Paulo (SP), Feira de Santana (BA), Santos (SP), Bonito (MS), among others.
