In support of low-income families in Ceará, the State Government has partnered with our energy company, Nacional Gás, to distribute 200,000 gas cylinders to the population. The company provided the gas cylinders at cost price, and the state will distribute vouchers so that people can acquire the units.
“It is an honor for us, at Grupo Edson Queiroz, to be able to help Ceará families at this time. Through this partnership, we can make a difference in this difficult time. With this assistance, families will have the means to cook their food and maintain a sense of well-being,” said Abelardo Rocha, president of Grupo Edson Queiroz.
Governor Camilo Santana announced the measure in a live broadcast on Facebook last Tuesday (7).
The action aims to minimize the effects of the new coronavirus crisis by ensuring the supply of this essential commodity to families.
However, the eligibility criteria to receive the benefit are yet to be detailed by the state.
