The Edson Queiroz Group continues its fight against the Coronavirus (COVID-19). To reaffirm its commitment to its employees and society, the company released a video this week showing the delivery of essential services to the population, as well as contributions to the fight against the virus.
In addition to highlighting the continued delivery of services considered essential during this pandemic, such as mineral water, energy, and information, the Edson Queiroz Group showcased in the video the actions being taken to help in the fight.
Our home appliances company, Esmaltec, has adjusted its production line to manufacture face shields for healthcare professionals, an initiative carried out in partnership with the National Service for Industrial Training of Ceará (Senai/CE). Meanwhile, our energy company, Nacional Gás, has partnered with the Government of the State of Ceará to provide 200,000 gas cylinders to be distributed to low-income families.
Minalba Brasil, our food and beverage company, has made available 50,000 bottles of hand sanitizer to the healthcare network in various cities. On April 11, the Verdes Mares System, the communication arm of the Group, dedicated 14 hours of its programming to benefit institutions suffering from the impacts of the pandemic. The campaign resulted in the collection of over 33 tons of food, R$136,000, and donations of various items.
These and other actions are continuously evolving to ensure the health of our employees and to be present in the lives of Brazilians with quality products.
